Ten years ago, I burned out so badly building my business that I ended up with a severe autoimmune health crisis. I lost everything — my clients, my income, my home, and my health.
I spent the next decade learning how to rebuild sustainably. That painful chapter became my purpose. The problem was never my effort or intelligence. It was the absence of systems, structures, and rhythms — both outer and inner — that let an organization, and a person, function without requiring them to be the engine of everything.
That insight now shapes two sides of my work that I no longer see as separate. You cannot build a company that runs without burning people out — including yourself — by optimizing only one of these systems.
